For parents of 10–17 year olds

Your child already uses AI. Let's make sure they use it well.

Online lessons where kids and teenagers learn to think with AI, not copy from it. Each one builds a real project around something they love, and you get a written recap after every lesson.

Three promises to parents

1

They think, AI helps

We train judgement: asking good questions, checking answers, spotting when AI makes things up. Homework stays theirs.

2

They build something real

Every student leaves with a project: a shop plan, a debate case, a design portfolio, a study system.

3

They stay safe

No full names, schools or photos go into AI tools. You are copied on every lesson recap.

The tracks

Each track starts from something your child already cares about. Most students start in the Lab, then pick one.

What a lesson looks like

50 minutes, online, on your child's own computer. They drive; the coach guides.

  1. Warm-up

What happened since last time? One thing that worked, one that didn't.

  2. Play and predict

An interactive model, like the Word Machine on this page. They guess before every click.

  3. Build

They work on their own project with AI, step by step, with the coach watching and asking why.

  4. Wrap-up

One sentence on what they learned. Homework is small and practical.

Try it together: the Word Machine

Play it right here with your child: load a card, press Predict, and ask why the machine picked that word. That question is the whole first lesson in one click.

Odds for the next word

Chop a prompt first. The odds appear here.
Simplified. A real model weighs about 100,000 possible pieces at every step and its window holds hundreds of thousands of tokens.

Answer so far

Nothing yet.
Small numbers show how likely each pick was. A red outline means the machine did not pick the favourite.

Play it in five steps

Before every click, guess out loud what will happen. The cards tick off as you go.

The big idea: a chatbot doesn't look answers up. It predicts the next likely piece of text, one piece at a time, using only what fits in its window.

    Student projects

Names, places and some details are changed to protect the students' privacy.

    Makers' Market · age 13 · Europe

A handmade shop that knows its customer

She sells crocheted toys online. With AI she described her ideal customer, a gift buyer she named herself, and now writes captions and prices with that customer in mind. Her school time stays her priority; the shop gets two focused sessions a week.

The Courthouse · age 15 · United States

A future lawyer who catches AI inventing things

She wants to be a business lawyer. In a mock case she asked AI for legal precedents and learned to check every one, because AI can invent sources that sound real. Her second project is an AI stylist that plans outfits and asks whose taste it is copying.

    For parents: safety and rules

    Privacy first

Kids never type their full name, school, address or photos of themselves into AI tools.

    Parents can join

You are welcome in any lesson: sit in for the first one, join the last ten minutes, or drop in whenever you like. You are also copied on every invitation and recap.

    Honest homework

AI is for thinking, research and feedback. Schoolwork is written by the student.

    Right tool, right age

We use tools whose age rules allow your child to use them with your consent, on accounts you control.

    Questions parents ask

What age are the lessons for?

Kids and teenagers from 10 to 17. We group by age band: 10–12, 13–15 and 16–17, because a 10-year-old and a 17-year-old need different projects.

Is AI safe for my child?

It can be, with rules. Students never share personal details with AI tools, use accounts you control and with your consent, and you get a recap of every lesson.

Will AI make my child lazy?

Used badly, yes. These lessons teach the opposite: asking better questions, checking answers and building things themselves. Schoolwork stays theirs.

Are lessons one to one or in groups?

Both. One to one is fully personal. Small groups of 2 to 4 suit siblings or friends of a similar age.

    What does my child need?

A laptop or desktop with a browser, headphones and 50 minutes. We set up the tools together in the first lesson.

    Can I join the lessons?

Yes. Parents are welcome in any lesson, and many sit in for the first one. The written recap covers the lessons you miss.

    Which languages?

    English, Spanish and Italian.

Not sure where your child should start? Let's talk for 15 minutes.
